These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ArchPilot, including our website, wizard, project guidance experience, digital content, communications, and related services.

What ArchPilot provides

ArchPilot provides guided project information, early feasibility direction, property-based project reading, zoning-related context, project planning guidance, and educational content for residential projects such as ADUs, casitas, remodels, garage conversions, and home additions.

ArchPilot is designed to help users understand what may be possible before investing in design, permits, consultants, or construction.

No professional or permit-ready documentation

ArchPilot does not provide architectural construction documents, permit-ready drawings, engineering services, legal advice, surveying, contractor services, or final zoning determinations.

Any analysis, guidance, report, recommendation, or project direction provided through ArchPilot is preliminary and informational unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

No guarantee of approval or buildability

ArchPilot does not guarantee that a project will be approved, permitted, financed, designed, built, or completed. Local laws, zoning rules, parcel data, property conditions, HOA rules, utility conditions, professional review, and agency interpretations may affect project feasibility.

Users should verify all information with qualified professionals and local authorities before making financial, design, permitting, or construction decisions.

User responsibilities

By using ArchPilot, you agree to:

  • Use ArchPilot only for lawful purposes.

You may submit property addresses, project goals, site details, intended use, scope, budget expectations, timing, and other project-related information. You represent that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

ArchPilot may use submitted information to generate guidance, improve the platform, respond to inquiries, and develop future project tools, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Payments and future paid services

ArchPilot may offer free and paid services now or in the future, including deeper reports, project guidance, consulting coordination, unlocked deliverables, or other premium features.

If paid services are introduced, pricing, scope, refund rules, and payment terms may be presented separately at the time of purchase.

Intellectual property

The ArchPilot name, brand, interface, content, visuals, workflows, copy, software, layouts, graphics, and related materials are owned by ArchPilot or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

User content license

When you submit information to ArchPilot, you grant ArchPilot a limited right to use that information to operate, provide, improve, and develop the service, including generating project guidance and responding to your requests.

You retain any ownership rights you may have in your original submitted content, subject to this limited operational license.

We are not responsible for third-party content, data accuracy, privacy practices, availability, or terms. Your use of third parties is governed by their own policies and agreements.

ArchPilot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that ArchPilot will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, complete, or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArchPilot and its owners, affiliates, team members, contractors, or service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

This includes, without limitation, damages related to project delays, permitting outcomes, construction decisions, financial investments, professional fees, lost profits, or reliance on preliminary guidance.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ArchPilot from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your submitted information, your violation of these terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
